How Do I Get Netflix On My Englaon Smart TV

All of our ENGLAON Smart TVs are pre-loaded with Netflix, which can be launched with the remote.

To use Netflix, you need a minimum Internet connection of 2MB/S and a streaming service membership. Internet usage charges and conditions apply.

If Netflix is not showing on the home page

 

Scroll to the far right of the favourites bar, until you seethen press OK.

This will display all the apps that are not yet displayed across the favourites bar.  

Select Netflix and press OK this will then move it out onto your favourites bar.

Netflix is still not showing, now what do I do?

If your Android TV is running Android 9.0 or is one of the following models, LED22M50, LED22X80, LED24M50, LED24M80, LED24X80, LED27M80, LED32M50, LED32M80 please see below.

 

Please download the following file and copy it to a USB device as it is: Android 9 Netflix hotfix

Once the file is downloaded, copy it to a USB Device that is formatted with the FAT32 File System.

To do this:- insert the USB into the USB slot in the pc.

Open ‘File Explorer’ – select USB in drive ie D, right-click the mouse, select properties, and check the file system is FAT32

Open downloads on the pc, copy the file

Open the USB in the drive, and paste the file.

Insert the USB device into the Android USB Port on your TV

Turn on your TV and load Smart TV

In Smart TV go to Settings -> Device Preferences ->About -> Update
This will open a window, Don’t select the highlighted ‘Auto download On’ and move the
blue highlight to select on the next line.

Highlight Select and press OK, this should allow you to highlight and select the file on the USB device.


This will shut down the tv and restart. Don’t worry!

Allow this to complete and reload the Smart TV. Once that has loaded removed the UBS device from the TV, then follow the steps above to confirm that Netflix is now available for you.

You can move the Netflix icon with the use of a PC mouse (Insert the USB mouse into the Android USB port on the TV), highlight Netflix in the favourite bar then (click and hold the left mouse button) this will open a menu, select move with the mouse, then use the remote to move the Netflix icon along the favourite bar. Remove your mouse from the Android USB port on the TV.
