How to download and install apps on your Android 11 Englaon Smart TV

Installing apps on your Englaon Android 11 TV


Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube are pre-installed on your Englaon Android TV.

1. Connect to the Internet:

Ensure that your Android 11 TV is connected to the Internet, either through Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection.

2. Access the Google Play Store:

  • On your Android 11 TV, navigate to the home screen.
  • Look for the Google Play Store icon and select it. It's usually represented by a multicoloured triangle.

3. Search for the Streaming App:

  • Inside the Google Play Store, use the remote control to navigate to the search bar.
  • Please type the name of the streaming app you want to install and select it from the search results.

4. Install the App:

  • Once you've selected the streaming app, you'll be taken to its page in the Play Store.
  • Click on the "Install" button to begin the installation process.

5. Accept Permissions:

  • The app may request certain permissions to function properly. Read through these permissions and, if you're comfortable, click "Accept" to proceed with the installation.

6. Open the App:

  • Once the installation is complete, you can either open the app immediately or go back to the home screen and find the app icon to launch it later.
    Tip: If you would like the App on the Favorite Bar on the Home Screen for easy access follow the steps, Select the end icon 'Add app to favourite', then select the app you want, click the OK and the app will move to the favourite bar. Done. 

7. Log In (if required):

  • Some streaming apps may require you to log in with your account credentials. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter your username and password.

8. Enjoy Streaming:

  • After logging in, you should be all set to start streaming your favourite content on your Android 11 TV.

Note:

  • In case you cannot find the app in the Google Play Store, it's possible that the app may not be compatible with your specific TV model. In such cases, you may need to check the TV's app store or consider an alternative methods like sideloading apps, though this is not recommended due to security reasons.
